Computer Crimes
Computer crimes involve knowingly accessing a computer, system, or network without permission. Common offenses include data theft, cyberstalking, bullying, and identity theft (often charged as fraud).
This is a wobbler offense, meaning it can be charged as a misdemeanor (up to 1 year in county jail) or a felony (up to 3 years in state prison).
