Cyberstalking involves stalking, intimidation, harassment, or bullying through electronic means such as the internet, email, text messages, or phone.

It is a wobbler offense, meaning it can be charged as a misdemeanor (up to 1 year in county jail and a $1,000 fine) or a felony (up to 5 years in state prison and a $1,000 fine).
