Disorderly Conduct
Disturbing the peace (or breach of the peace) involves fighting, protesting, public misconduct, or disruptive behavior, often linked to intoxication or police encounters.
It is typically punishable by short jail terms (days to months). Felony convictions can result in a year or more in state prison, with fines of $1,000 or more.
